JRTM has put in all the necessary efforts to publish the journal in an ethical manner and follows Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines on publication ethics (COPE). The details of publication ethics incorporated in the journal are as follows,

For Publishers:

• The Publishers of JRTM respects privacy (for example, for research participants, for authors, for peer reviewers) and are intended to protect the intellectual property and copyright. They also foster editorial independence.

Publisher’s works with journal editors, advisory & editorial board members to:

• Set journal policies appropriately and aim to meet those policies, particularly with respect to: – Editorial independence – Research ethics, including confidentiality, consent, and the special requirements for human and animal research – Authorship – Transparency and integrity (for example, conflicts of interest, research funding, reporting standards – Peer review and the role of the editorial team beyond that of the journal editor – Appeals and complaints.
• They also communicate journal policies to authors, readers and peer reviewers
• Review of journal policies periodically, particularly with respect to new recommendations from the COPE is also carried out by the publishers
• Maintain the integrity of the academic record
• Assist the parties (for example, institutions, grant funders, governing bodies) responsible for the investigation of suspected research and publication misconduct and, where possible, facilitate in the resolution of these cases
• Publish corrections, clarifications, and retractions
• Publish content on a timely basis

For Authors:

JRTM expects the authors to maintain utmost ethics while preparing and submitting a manuscript.

• The authors are requested not to submit articles which are redundant (duplicate) of others work. No fabricated and plagiarized data are entertained.
• The authors should clearly state source of support, conflict of interest if any and submit copyright transform to JRTM.  Change in authorship or addition of author should be done with the permission of the editor with a clarification for need for change.
• For original clinical studies and animal experiments, reference number of ethical committee approval letter should be mentioned in the article and a scanned copy uploaded in support file area. 
• Authors are requested to provide due acknowledgement to other researchers or authors whose work are cited in reference section.
